- To organise Milk Producer Cooperative Societies on Anand Pattern in HimachalPradesh.
- To provide a remunerative market to the Milk Producers’ for their surplus milk at their door steps
- To ensure availability of milk and milk products in adequate quantity and reasonable prices to the Urban milk consumers.
- To encourage the use of balance Cattle feed, Green fodder & scientific management practices.
- To encourage women participation in Dairy Cooperatives.
- Man power development with a view to increase overall efficiency.
