DoIT Computer Complaint Management System
Guidelines for using the application:

This online application may be used to register the complaints regarding computer systems (Hardware, Software etc.) only by those customers who buy their hardware in accordance with the rates and terms and conditions approved by the Department of IT, Government of Himachal Pradesh either directly or through the H.P. State Electronics Development Corporation.

Follow these steps to use this application:

  1. If you are a new user and not registered , please register to get access to this application.

  2. In order to register, click on "Register Here" link on the Home Page.

  3. A registration form appears on the screen. Fill all the details on the form and submit them. Choose your "user name" and "password" and please make sure that you don't forget the same.

  4. After successful registration, an Email is sent to your mail box in the email account supplied by you in the registration form.

  5. Open your email account, look for am email from ditsupport-hp@nic.in and click on the link available. Please make it a point to check your Bulkmail/ Junkmail folder just in case the confirm action email lands there. Clicking on the link will redirect you to the application and your registration will be activated. Please remember that you will get access to the application only when your registration is activated.

  6. Once your registration is active your can use your "user name" and "password" to login into the application. Enter user name and password and click on login button to enter into the application.

  7. Successful login will list all the pending complaints registered by you, if any.

  8. It will also show the complaints of the same Department within the same District, please go through the same to avoid unnecessary duplication of complaint for the same machine.

  9. To enter a new complaint click on "Register New Complaint for Computer Hardware/ Software".

  10. Complaint registration form appears on the screen. Fill all the details and submit them. As far as possible, you must fill in service tag or serial number of the machine (normally found behind or on top of the machine).

  11. Your complaints are automatically forwarded to the concerned vendor/ agency who will attend it.

  12. You van view the latest status and progress of your call using "update" link on the list of complaints. The nature of calls may also be changed.

  13. You can also forward to the call to another company if the problem lies with another company.

  14. If the problem has been rectified and you are satisfied, you can close the call by clicking on "Close Call" button.
